L-ewwel nett, strategija qisa "action plan" dwar dak li ghandu jsir fuq suggett partikolari, allura, meta nghid ICT strategic plan jigifieri il-pajjiz x'irid jilhaq f'dak li ghandu x'jaqsam l-ICT.
The Smart Island hija l-istrategija nazzjonali ta' l-ICT bejn is-snin 2008 u 2010.
Biha, il-gvern ta' Malta jrid jara li kulhadd jibda jsir familjari mat-teknologija u l-kompjuters.
Fiha hemm diversi skemi, bhal ma huma tal-kompjuter bin-99c kull jum, l-iskema tal-broadband bit- 3 euros, l-iskema tas-software ghal prezz irhis hafna u iktar skemi...

Nahseb li llum hafna studenti fil-Junior College qed jaghzlu l-Computer Studies A'level. Hawn kompetizzjoni kbira ghax jerga' li hemm tal-MCAST ukoll jikkompetu maghhom. Il-kuntrarju ta' qabel lol.
